Tragedy Struck Today

A long hard day and I just could not get excited about Butterscotch Pudding Day or these historical events that took place

1356 English forces under The Black Prince defeat French at Battle of Poitiers and capture the French King during the Hundred Years War
1870 Siege of Paris by Prussian Forces begins (lasts until January 28 1871)
1893 New Zealand becomes the first country to grant all women the right to vote
1985 8.1 earthquake in Mexico City kills an estimated 10,000 and leaves 250,000 homeless
1986 US Federal health officials announce AZT will be available to AIDS patients

It's been a long hard day JD finally got the Iron put together and by the time I got it put into the form I did not feel like mixing and pouring cement. So we went into town for dinner... (my treat) came home and I fell asleep watching TV and I just want to go back to bed.. tomorrow is another day.

Yeah, it's been one of those days; only reached a high temp of 43F here today under cloud and fog. I went to the city to get some medical tests at the hospital. and noticed that there are quite a few crops not yet harvested, but delayed due to cold and wet conditions. While in town, I picked up 3 sacks of slices, some bologna, OJ, tea biscuits, peanuts, and a pkg of lean ground beef at 30% off. One little sack full and it was over $46. Yikes!!
Hope you get a good sleep and rejuvenate your energy for 2morrow.

I would very much like to design and build our mausoleum! I could make it the envy of the whole county! For just t5he two of us in all eternity! It would outlast the Berlin Flak towers!
